Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Is there a smell/taste?
A: Our microbes are living organisms and do “gas off” when not dormant. So yes, there is usually a slight odor, similar to a smelly gym bag. No, there is no taste.

Q: Is it certified organic?
A: Our products are ALL organic. However, they are not certified by the USDA or registered with OMRI. The reason for this is that in order to become a “certified” product, we must reveal proprietary information (trade secrets) regarding our formulations and we are not willing to reveal that information.

Q: Is it safe for human consumption?
A: Our labels clearly state that we DO NOT recommend our microbes for human consumption.

Q: Can we buy for less cost from the main warehouse?
A: No. You can actually buy products cheaper through one of our listed distributors or dealers. We WILL NOT undercut our representatives!

Q: Does it kill flies? Fire Ants?
A: No.

Q: Does it hurt to freeze?
A: A hard freeze will kill some of the microbes, causing the possibility of an imbalance in the formula.

Q: Does it replace antibiotics?
A: No. Our REBOOT and BALANCER 2 formulas do contain 7 bacteria that collectively form a high-powered, natural antibiotic, which will combat many pathogens in the early stages of illness. However, if you’re using the microbes faithfully and the animal is still ill, please administer antibiotics as necessary. Our microbes will enhance antibiotic therapies.

Q: What is the best way to administer to livestock?
A: Orally (via drench, water additive, top dress on feed) and transdermal (for wounds).

Q: Is it a dewormer for livestock?
A: No.

Q: Does REBOOT kill coccidiosis in goats?
A: Both of our livestock formulas will inhibit/mitigate coccidiosis in all livestock.

Q: How often do you apply to soils?
A: The first year, we recommend at least 2 applications. After that, you may apply once annually.

Q: Are there any crops not recommended for microbe use?
A: Blueberries, radishes, sweet potatoes, parsley, peppers, potatoes, rhubarb and strawberries because they require acidic soil.

Q: Does it replace fertilizer?
A: Plants typically utilize only half of any fertilizer applied. Our microbes are a growth promotant and will greatly enhance the utilization of fertilizer by the plants. When regularly using our microbes, you may drastically reduce the amount of fertilizer inputs, thus reducing costs. And yes, microbes may be mixed with fertilizers.

Q: Is it an insecticide?
A: No.

Q: Does it kill grassburs? Sandburs?
A: No. Our microbes may be used in conjunction with a non-Glyphosate burr killer for an optimum kill rate.

Q: Can it be mixed with weed killer?
A: Our microbes may be mixed with weed-kill that contains NO Glyphosate.

Q: What time of the year is best for spraying?
A: You may spray any time of the year with the exception of extremely freezing temperatures. For optimum penetration, application prior to a good rain is best.
